All F40‘s were painted red from factory. Yes, each of the 1,311 examples came out of the assembly line in Rosso Corsa. A bit of a shame really, as even though the F40 is absolutely stunning in red, the fact no other colors were offered prevented us from enjoying more shades on this iconic Pininfarina design. When we had the chance to acquire a Ferrari F40 with a bit of history from a good client, we jumped at the opportunity to make it ours. This also meant re-painting it in a Ferrari color that was dear to our hearts: Verde Pallido, famously used on Sir Stirling Moss’ 250 GTO chassis 3505GT. Little did we know that our “Minty Forty” would become an internet sensation, after its presentation at our Caffeine Injection event and a few sightings in Munich and around Lake Como, the car became an instant icon. This shop is dedicated to chassis #88538, an F40 that is different and that was used as intended during its life, and still is, to this day, putting a smile on the face of everyone that has the chance to see it.
